Halibut Point State Park in Rockport Massachusetts is full of rocky shoreline for those who would rather take a day trip from Boston rather than travel all the way to Maine. I always find it difficult to decide whether to use a long exposure to capture the landscape there, but on this occasion, I did not have trouble deciding. The sun was low in the sky, and the color change between the dry rocks and the ocean is enhanced by the Big Stopper by LEE Filters.
