Whaleback Light

My second lighthouse effort comes from Maine, though the picture was taken from Portsmouth Harbor in New Hampshire. Whaleback lighthouse was constructed in 1830, and has been automated since the 1960s. I took this image after the sun had descended. The exposure took several minutes, and I had to remove some lens flare in Photoshop. I really like how it turned out though. I would have kept shooting, but a cop threw me out of the park!
