Boulder Beach was one of the most challenging locations when I was in Acadia last August. The tide was low during sunrise and sunset all week, and the rocks were very slippery when I walked up to the water’s edge. Actually, I was really grateful for the barnacles that were on the rocks a few feet behind the seaweed. They scratch the hell out of you, but at least they help you maintain your grip!
I took this series of images with the Big Stopper from LEE.
